As WiCell's Student Lab Assistant Lexi assists the Stem Cell Bank team with various tasks such as restocking supplies and equipment maintenance.  Before joining at WiCell, she had been an intern for the Gift of Life Marrow Registry on the UW-Madison campus. She has added over 600 donors to the registry and facilitated 5 matches for patients with various blood cancers. Through the work Gift of Life does with stem cells, her interest grew in the field of regenerative medicine and stem cell research and she began to seek out opportunities and found WiCell!

Lexi is currently a junior at UW-Madison studying Health Equity and Nursing, while seeking a certification in Stem Cell and Regernative Medicine.

Lexi also runs baking business in Chicago and loves to try new baking recipes in her spare time.
